This is an illustrated book for children, published in 2015 by Vellant, in the Pasărea măiastră (Wonder Bird) Collection. The Collection’s purpose is to re-edit classical Romanian fairytales in a new format, and working with local illustrators.

The illustrations are made using photos of 3D articulated dolls and paper-crafted backgrounds.
I’ve started experimenting with this technique in 2012, and I would like to share with you the process.
